Titusville woman struck and killed in Cocoa crash

A 65-year-old Titusville woman was hit by a car and killed Monday night near Cocoa while walking along State Road 520, according to Florida Highway Patrol reports.

The unidentified woman was walking along the edge of the highway’s westbound lanes when she was struck by a car being driven by a 43-year-old Cocoa woman just before 11 p.m. Monday.  

Troopers did not identify the driver of the vehicle as of Tuesday.

The crash remains under investigation and follows a similar crash that took place in Mims Saturday.
