According to a newly submitted ‘Master Plan’, the layout of the previously proposed Titusville Resort & Destination development of the old Searstown Mall has changed, along with more detailed concept renders of the development, to provide a better view of what the project will look like when completed

The developers CEO, Jesse Wright, says, “The plaza also provides the opportunity for public and private activities to occur in the plaza and with the flexibility of the north/south drive in the center to be curbless and function as a festival street to accommodate larger events. The east end of the plaza features a rain garden/bioswale and a proposed educational/interpretive public art feature.”

Wright says, “The phasing, as preliminarily proposed, allows for redevelopment to occur in the first phase without impacting large and small, long term tenants and also provides for their repositioning to phase one spaces prior to the commencement of phase 2.”

• 25,000 square feet of retail space
• A 5,000 square foot high-turnover, sit-down restaurant
• A 3,000 square foot fast food restaurant.

• An apartment complex with 340-multi-family dwelling units
• 46,400 square feet of medical office space
• 52,550 square feet of retail space
• A 5,000 square foot high-turnover sit-down restaurant
• A 3,000 square foot fast food restaurant.

• An apartment complex with 340-multi-family dwelling units
• A hotel with 153-rooms with a 5,000 square foot restaurant
• 46,400 square feet of medical office space
• 77,550 square feet of retail space
• A 5,000 square foot high-turnover sit-down restaurant
• A 3,000 square foot fast food restaurant

These new updates, including the Master Plan, still have to go through the City of Titusville, and meetings are currently scheduled for:
– October 6 before the Planning and Zoning Commission
– October 12 and 26 before the City Council.
